Antalis are seeking an MCICM qualified Regional Credit Manager, to take full responsibility of the credit function across both UK & Ireland, to ensure the management of risk for the company against bad debt and maintaining the company cash flow.In a fast paced, ever changing environment we are looking for a competent, technically astute and commercially minded individual to play a key role in supporting the business and managing the credit insurance.You will manage the Credit Team, split between the cash and collections team, who have responsibility to ensure timely and accurate billing of live customers and collaborate closely with the sales organisation and in addition you will lead our qualified Risk Managers whose role is to own the relationship with customers, external credit insurers, brokers and credit rating agencies and to establish internal credit limits whilst minimizing bad debt exposure. There is also a requirement to manage the Debt Factoring arrangement in line with group policies and relationships largely run out of Paris.This is a high-profile role which requires a significant amount of engagement with functions across the business and requires a regular interface with customers, credit insurers and industry trade bodies. Against the backdrop of a challenging credit and risk market, you will use your commercial acumen and negotiation skills to balance a number of challenging and varied objectives.Youll need excellent leadership skills, a strong outward facing personality, the ability to prioritise workload to meet efficient organisational capabilities, the character to back up and justify decisions made and the ability to engage with stakeholders to foster strong working relationships.Other responsibilities include:
