Job Description

Purchasing Assistant required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Coalville area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Purchasing Assistant to join the team.Purchasing Assistant - Engineering Position Overview

  • Purchasing of materials and services from approved suppliers
  • Interpreting Bill of Materials (BoMs) for required parts
  • Liaising closely with the close-knit procurement team
  • General ad-hoc admin duties for the department.
Purchasing Assistant - Engineering Position Requirements
  • Previous experience within a purchasing assistant / administrator role
  • Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment is advantageous
  • Based in a commutable distance of Coalville
  • Procurement related qualifications such as CIPS is desirable but not essential
Purchasing Assistant - Engineering Position Remuneration
  • Salary £25,000 - £30,000
  • Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30. Full-time, permanent position.
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Pension
