Job Description

An opportunity for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk has become available with our client, based in Coalville, to work within a busy purchase ledger department. Initially a 3-month contract with an excellent likelihood to be extended to 6 months+.Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, duties include:

  • Setting up new suppliers on the system
  • Scanning invoices
  • Matching GRN (Goods received notes) to invoices
  • Coding and inputting a high number of purchase ledger invoices
  • Dealing with queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you should be organised and methodical and used to working in a high volume and fast paced environment. Applicants must have recent UK purchase ledger experience.In return, the company offers modern, open plan offices, free onsite parking, and a friendly and supportive team. Salary is £24,000 - £26,000, hours of work are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.The role is hybrid once trained, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home - however if you would prefer to work in the office more days or all 5 days then that is fine.Immediate start.
