Job Description

You will take responsibility for all aspects of a number of Paper Categories. Engaging and supporting Sales, Marketing and Purchasing to present product performance and targets. identifying issues within product performance, recommending and implementing corrective actions. Working with the team to develop a comprehensive and profitable product offer that helps retain Antalis position as a leader in the Papers Market in the UK and Ireland.With excellent team working skills, self-motivation and a strong eye for detail, you will be extremely commercial and have the ability to build a winning product proposition including pricing and feature analysis; utilising market and sales insight. We also expect to see a good understanding of key environmental developments and technology trends.Key responsibilities:

  • Provide in-depth market, industry and competitor analysis/positioning.
  • Report on product performance issues & opportunities on a regular basis, working with both internal and external stakeholders to take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Identify content for product collateral including swatches, intranet, internet, contract/personal price lists. Be instrumental in driving the development and production of sales support / marketing collateral and effective marketing campaigns to an agreed timeline and budget.
  • Drive and partner sales teams to be the product expert through training, coaching and joint customer visits. Ensure understanding and use of sales tools and augmentation, product features and benefits to support achievement of product sales, targets and KPIs. Develop regional action plans to both drive and close pipeline.
  • Control and manage cost price positioning. Act as first point of contact for sales management to ensure managed balance between sales growth and mark up optimisation. Ensure margin optimisation through the active management of PETE pricing.
  • Work with purchasing team to steer commercial direction including volume targets, pricing levels and marketing support. Manage and maintain margin, carry out price reviews, product promotion and discount programs to maximise product profitability.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing and procurement to manage product lifecycle including performance within agreed targets and with minimum write-downs.
