Job Description

Do you have experience in Logistics Contract Management, and want a fresh opportunity to get stuck intoAs the 3PL Contracts Manager working with us you can expect to be challenged, and rewarded for your continuous hard work.Were looking for a talented, willing and confident manager to take ownership of our 3PL contracts. You will need to be able to drive and improve the service levels growth across the contracts markets.Here at Antalis we have 5 in-house warehouses (Dartford, Leeds Livingstone, Interlink and Hilltop). We have a number of 3rd Party operations ran by different managers that cover different areas which include:

  • Bristol
  • Manchester
  • Newcastle
  • Basingstoke
  • Cardiff
  • East Anglia
  • Within your new role you will be responsible for these contracts. The key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
  • Overall responsibility in excess of £5m in cost and income.
  • Lead and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of 3rd party providers within the logistics network.
  • Identify possible 3rd party provider opportunities to help drive either a more cost-effective service or improvements to the service level requirements.
  • Design, set up, & maintain the supplier contracts and Service Levels Agreements with providers to measure compliance.
  • Achieve and control financial budget activity for the logistics network including 3rd party providers and pallet/parcel carriers which meet our service level requirements.
  • Annually evaluate and assess the 3rd party solutions contracts on viability of individual customers and recommend appropriate action to increase profitability.
  • Complete formal quarterly reviews with each 3rd Party Contractor to ensure they are fully meeting our requirements including a review of all expenditure, compliance, KPI & SLA performances including feedback from Antalis sites. These reviews should be fully documented and an agreed action log put in place to ensure a continual improvement plan is in place. This should also include and add value services the 3rd Party can provide.
  • KPIs in this role will include:
  • Customer service on accounts delivered via 3rd Party contractors - OTIF
  • Cost per tonne / drop on 3rd Party contractors
  • Net income from 3rd Party solution customers
  • Variable cost as a % of total logistics cost
