Job Description

CLASS 1 SHUNTER DRIVERHGV C+E / class 1 shunter driver required for our client based in Leicester.Shifts:

  • 07:30 starts - 16:30 finish
  • Monday-Friday
  • ASAP start
    • Job role will include:
  • Shunting around the yard
  • Executing full and empty trailer movements in a timely manner
  • Carrying out instructions from inbound/outbound team
  • Operate a counterbalance clamp truck - training provided
  • Loading bales and waste into the stand trailer
  • Ensure the yard in maintained
    • Pay rates:
  • Mon to Fri £14.00p/h PAYE
    • The Candidate:
  • A valid full category Class 1/HGV C+E licence
  • 1 years experience required
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Work well with others as part of a team
  • Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
  • Must have a current LGV CE CPC and Digi card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences please)
