Job Description

Customer Service AdministratorMenzies Distribution are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Coalville on an Apprenticeship Scheme.Youll be supporting the Operation acting as the liaison between the Customer, Warehouse and Transport. The apprenticeshipwill be via the National Apprenticeship Scheme and the duration of the course is 12-18 months long. Throughout the course you will have the support of not just the Depot team but also an assigned coach who will conduct a monthly meeting with you to offerany support and guidance. Menzies are very proactive when it comes to upskilling people and there will be lots of room for progression.What You Want To Know

  • Monday to Friday Shift Pattern
  • Hours of work are 12:00-22:00
  • Salary of £23k Per Annum
  • Holiday allowance is 28 days inclusive of bank holidays.

What your day will look like/Tasks to Complete
  • Engage with depots and external contractors to retrieve proof of delivery in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that customer requirements are administered in a timely controlled and recorded manner
  • Answer and responding to all incoming queries in a prompt and polite manner
  • Monitor and chase documentation in support of the transport operation
  • Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet the needs of the transport department
  • Collation of accurate data
  • Have the ability to juggle numerous tasks and responsibilities whilst liaising with various customers at once
  • Communicating Track & Trace every 2 hours (You will be trained on this)
  • We will introduce to systems such as Blujay, Transporeon etc
  • Complete Lead Creation
  • Finding and filing PODS.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills are essential
  • Experience resolving disputes in a fair and calm manner and be able to identify issues, which could potentially become problematic and avoid situations arising
  • Good people skills for working with a range of colleagues and customers
