Job Description

Control Systems Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of automated production machinery based in the Coalville, Leicestershire area.Due to an expanding product portfolio of robotic machinery they are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join the team.Control Systems Engineer Position Overview

  • Designing, Specifying, configuring and fault-finding of servo drive systems in compliance with machinery directives
  • Completing certification and technical documentation in line with CE & UKCA machinery directives
  • Potential travel to customer sites to carry out on site commissioning of machinery
  • PLC Ladder logic programming
  • Proving technical support to customers on machinery
Control Systems Engineer Position Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience within a technical role within electrical / control engineering, with a focus on machinery or system integration
  • Electrical design skills such as OrCAD, EPlan etc.
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming
  • Experience with motion drive systems
  • Programming skills with Python, Matlab, C/ C++ is desirable
  • Experience of the CNC/ servo machine tools system
Control Systems Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.
  • Holiday allowance and pension
