Job Description

Title Support Worker Salary £10.00-£15.00ph with additional enhancement for sleep shifts £50.00 per sleep. Location St Helens (WA9)The Talent Crowd are recruiting Support Workers to provide support to vulnerable adults with Autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour throughout St Helens (WA9).The Role You will be working in private supported living services providing support to vulnerable adults with various support needs such as, autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You will be required to undertake daily living tasks such as general domestic duties, supporting with shopping, attending appointments, leading, and attending chosen activities such as day centres, support with finances such as daily budgeting, supporting,and assisting with personal care, assistance with hoisting, completing daily notes such as care plans and diaries, communicating with other professionals and family members. This role has multiple vacancies from full and part-time roles with the offer of great flexibility to fit work around your life. Person specification

  • You will need to have a minimum of six months UK paid healthcare experience as a support worker or care assistant to apply for this role
  • The Talent Crowd will need to obtain professional employment references to cover a three-year period
  • Experience of working in a similar setting as a support worker or care assistant within supported living, challenging behaviour, Autism and learning disabilities
  • The ability to work well within a fast-paced environment as a team member and lone working

Client information You will be based in a core cluster unit that provides care for 7 adults. You will be tasked with caring for one of these individuals throughout the day completing the daily tasks mentioned above via the Talent Crowd You will work within a core team that providethe highest level of care possible to ensure supported adults are healthy, supported and happy in their own homes.
