Job Description

General LabourerOur client is looking for a permanent Quarry Labourer based in their Medwell quarry. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Quarry Manager and Supervisor.Duties to include:

  • Operating and general maintenance of machinery including daily checks
  • Operating quarry saws and maintenance of saws including daily checks
  • Quality control of stone and cut stone to support client’s requirements
  • Operation of forklifts and daily maintenance of site forklifts
  • Working as part of a team
  • General quarry housekeeping
Some Quarry knowledge is preferred but not essential due to full training being given.Basic hours 7.30am til 4.00pm with the possibility of overtime.Pay will be between £10.71 and £11.50 depending on experience.
