Edenvale Recruitment are currently hiring for a Team Leader to join our client’s team on a permanent basis working at a Learning Disabilities Home in Bristol.The home itself is a 7-bedded residential home offering support to Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and Complex Care.As a Team Leader you will be required to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service, adhering to CQC regulations and supporting individuals to reach their goals. Below are some examples of what your role willinvolve:- Support with Personal Development Plans and assist in coaching/mentoring Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to progress and follow individual learning paths.- Support the Registered Manager with new staff on-boarding, and a comprehensive induction in accordance with relevant policy/procedure including paperwork being completed correctly.- Support the Manger to ensure that staff’s training is up to date, support staff with completion of training modules as required to meet deadlines and compliance requirements.- Support the Registered Manager to oversee care for people supported, ensuring needs are understood and focused on achievement of personal goals, maximising independence.- Monitor completion by staff daily notes, care plans reviews and staff adhering to service users care plans, protocols, and risk assessments.- To support Manager with care reviews, setting up appointments for residents, communication with outside professionals, families.- In consultation with the person supported, prepare a timetable setting out the activities to progress towards achievement of the support plan.- Ensure that Senior Support Workers and/or key workers complete key sessions with person supported at least once a week addressing anything outstanding from the previous session.- Support Manager in completing audits related to Safeguarding, incidents, accidents.We are looking for someone with the below:- Previous experience working with Learning disabilities and complex care (Essential)- NVQ Level 3 (Preferred not essential)- Experience in a similar role either as a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker looking to progress. (Essential)- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts to suit the needs of the service.- Satisfactory reference and DBS check.This role is 37.5 - 40 hours per week including evenings and alternate weekends, with a salary of £12.35ph. Shifts times are between 8am-10pm with a variety of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts.
