Job Description

Timothy B Tyson.Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a Bristol based property business to recruit a Senior P2P Analyst to join its team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The Senior P2P Analyst will be responsible for handling incoming vendor invoices from processing through to payment, ensuring both electronic and paper invoices are accurately recorded and accounted for within the Finance system and in line with policies andprocedures, as well as reconciling relevant bank accounts linked to the Management company side of the business.Responsibilities of the Senior P2P Analyst include:

  • Ensure that all invoices are processed and paid within SLA and following company policies and procedures
  • Activate payment runs and supporting documentation for approval
  • Load electronic payments into correct bank accounts
  • Produce reconciliations and reports of banking activity
  • Follow-up and resolve payment issues/queries, stopping payments where appropriate
  • Ensure all invoicing and payment SLAs are met both internally and externally
  • Document and resolve AP queries as required ensuring quality communication and resolution in a timely manner
  • Provide monthly aged creditors reporting and analysis
  • Continual review and proposal for improvements to internal P2P policies and procedures
The successful Senior P2P Analyst will require the following skills and experience:
  • Prior experience in a P2P role
  • Ability to solve technical and or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Strong organisational and work prioritisation skills and attention to detail
