Job Description

Do you have a passion for salesLooking for a part-time role Hybrid with one morning each week in the Bristol officeDo you have an interest in the environment and planetAre you interested in the customer service focus of the sales processAre you looking for a career move to a company making a genuine differenceIf youre nodding right now... we’d love to hear from you!The primary purpose of your new role as Halcyan’s Part-time Inbound Sales Executive is to:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to potential domestic customers.
  • Secure sales targets and contribute to profitability and business growth.
  • Contribute to domestic customer marketing initiatives.
This is a part-time role where your day could look something like this:
  • Check your diary and follow up with outstanding customers as planned.
  • Email personalised quotes to one of yesterday’s prospects.
  • Review overnight prospective enquiries and follow up by phone.
  • Send a few video emails to the people you spoke with last week.
  • Update the CRM with today’s activities.
  • Learn a bit more about the product and new industry standards.
  • Have a cuppa with one of your colleagues.
  • Finish up with planning tomorrow’s prospect follow-up schedule.
Obviously, each day will be different, so this is just to give you a flavour of what your new job can look and feel like!You’ll have the following core skills, behaviours and attitudes to thrive in this new Inbound Sales Executive role:
  • Previous experience in a phone-based customer and sales role.
  • A genuine green’ environmental interest in doing your part to save the planet.
  • Confident explaining basic chemistry and physics principles (we know how to teach this, so we don’t expect you to have this background, just an interest in learning)
  • Comfortable talking about money and negotiating where appropriate.
  • An honest and straightforward presentation of the product, not prone to exaggeration.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent expression in written and spoken English.
  • Comfortable being on camera (for direct video conversations and marketing materials).
  • Happy working within and proactively contributing to a small team environment.
This role isn’t for you if:
  • You only care about the sale, not the customer
  • You want to sell purely on volume without caring about quality
  • You struggle with a schedule that can change at short notice
  • You prefer to work alone without a team there to back you up
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 or 5 hours per day (part-time)Based: This is a hybrid role - youll be working from home with weekly (Tuesdays) team meetings in the Bristol officeTraining: On-site training will take place in the office for the first two weeksSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 (full-time equivalent salary) with a potential bonus plan introduced after the probationary periodYour People Partners are the in-house hiring partners for Halcyan Water Conditioners - if youre a recruiter and would like to be considered for the PSL, please reach out to Your People Partners.
