Job Description

Juice is excited to be working with a well-established, bespoke furniture designer who, due to expansion are looking for a passionate Furniture Designer to join their experienced team.In this role, you will manage the specialist showroom based in a prime Clifton location; showcasing a range of bespoke Kitchens/Wardrobes/Studies and other fitted and free standing fine Cabinet and Upholstered Furniture for contract and private clients,all of which are made in the companys own factory in Bristol. The business offers full design, make and supply services to clients from single rooms to flats and entire houses.You will be:

  • Working with a range of clients
  • Initiating and developing client interest
  • Preparing CAD modelling and drawings for client and designing our own ranges with other colleagues
  • Preparing quotations
  • Help manage client projects and installations.
  • Liaising with Production throughout the design/manufacturing process
You will need:
  • Relevant qualifications or qualified by experience in product design and high end residential interiors.
  • Strong knowledge of both furniture manufacturing techniques and materials.
  • Site installation experience is a bonus, are practical cabinet-making or bench skills.
  • Passion and enthusiasm working within the retail sector.
  • Understanding of industry history, trends and directional developments is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong analytically regarding budget awareness
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
  • Driving license is preferred.

  • Salary: £45 - £55K (DOE)
  • Hours: 35 - 40 hrs/week including at least one weekend day
