Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00Test Engineer sought for a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronics industries.The role will be suited to skilled engineers with test experience on electromechanical equipment from any production/manufacturing or engineering background. You will hold the 18th edition and will have exposure to live test rigs.The company is a global leader in its own right and part of a global group of engineering brands. There is currently large investment in the Somerset facility with planned extensions to manufacturing capacity opening up further employment opportunities andsecuring long term jobs for all employees.The role:* Electrical and mechanical testing on sub assembles and final assemblies* PAT testing of components* leak/decay testing on gas, fuel and liquid lines* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding using schematics and mechanical drawings* Fault find to component level and reroute for reworking.* Sign off final test, build and calibration of equipment prior to release to despatch.The Person:* Skilled and experienced electromechanical engineer with live test rig experience* Must hold the 18th edition* Be willing to work either an earlies or late shift option.
