Test EngineerClevedon, Somerset£30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Shift Allowance + 25+8 Days Holiday + Cash Health Plan + Life Assurance + Great training and development opportunities + Summer and Christmas eventsMonday to Friday with Earlies (6am to 2pm) or Lates (2pm to 10pm) available.Test Engineer needed for a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronics industries. They are world renowned for their products and offer a great working environment withgenerous benefits packages and salary.The role will be suited to skilled Test Engineers with test experience on electromechanical equipment from any production/manufacturing or engineering background. You will hold the 17th/18th edition and will have exposure to live test rigs.The company is a global leader and part of a global group of engineering brands. There is currently large investment in the Somerset facility with planned extensions to manufacturing capacity opening further employment opportunities and securing long termjobs for all employees.The Test Engineer:* Electrical and mechanical testing on sub assembles and final assemblies* PAT testing of components* Leak/decay testing on gas, fuel, and liquid lines* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding using schematics and mechanical drawings* Fault find to component level and reroute for reworking.* Sign off final test, build and calibration of equipment prior to release to despatch.The Person:* Skilled and experienced electromechanical engineer with live test rig experience* Must hold the 17th/18th edition* Be willing to work either an earlies or late shift option.
