Job Description

Radiographer - PCN Level 2Clevedon Are you an experienced Radiographer qualified to PCN L2 who has worked previously within an Aviation engineering background or similarAre you looking for a rewarding role, offering a wide variety of work, plenty of autonomy, and a generous remuneration packageOur client provides Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to power generation, aerospace, and marine industries. They are looking for a PCN Level 2 Radiographer to join their team, working on site in their Clevedon office, but there will be traveling to clientspremises in the South West Area.What will you be doing:-

  • Carry out Radiography, recording & reporting of results, calibrations & control checks.
  • Liaison with Company appointed RPS’s regards to Local Rules requirements, and company approved procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring all Controlled Area’s on site/base comply with the Local Rules and IRR regulations.
  • Ensure all Radiographic results are reported correctly with regards to clients and company’s codes and procedures, and all work is carried out in accordance to Site/Base Local Rules.
  • Responsible for making sure all Radiographic equipment is signed in and out as appropriate and is kept in good working order.
  • Working to all RAD specific procedures including Stamp Procedure, Workflow etc.
  • Maintaining all RAD equipment including dark room in a safe and tidy manner
  • Following all safety rules at all times, reporting any dangerous situations to the RPS or Supervisor.
Experience required:-
  • Prior experience of conducting radiography testing and other complimentary NDT services in both workshop and site environments
  • Sound working knowledge of the relevant national/international codes or standards, applicable to NDT.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of safe working methods in a radiography environment
  • PCN L2 ON MPI and DPI - Desirable
