Job Description

  • 6 Month Temporary Contract

    • One of our clients are seeking an individual with a minimum of three years experience working within an assembly environment to join their team as a Cell Manufacturing Engineer to design, prove, implement and maintain the Cell manufacturing system layout. This role is a temporary contract for 6 months.Working within a Clevedon based Engineering company, the Cell Manufacturing Engineer will be Accountable for the definition, setup and optimisation of the processes within the allocated manufacturing cell.Cell Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities:
  • Establishing, monitoring, correcting and improving the process performances of the allocated work cell regarding capability and capacity
  • Being accountable for the accuracy and optimisation of manufacturing technical data (including routings and build notes) within the allocated manufacturing cell
  • Managing the effective implementation of appropriate Lean tools and methodologies in accordance with the guidelines of the Vacuum Technique Production System (VTPS) within the allocated manufacturing cell
  • Owning and being responsible for the compliance of the production processes to current regulations in terms of Health, Safety and Environment
  • Being accountable for the definition, setup, preparation and optimisation of manufacturing tooling and test solutions
  • Implementing and maintaining PFMEA for allocated manufacturing cell
  • Implementing and maintaining risk assessments and manual handling reviews for allocated manufacturing cell
  • Performing cut in investigation for the EC implementation process and taking ownership of the consequential phase out/in process for the involved parts and products
    • The successful candidates will be a competent user of CATIA or alternative 3D CAD package. You will also need a Engineering degree or equivalent, along with 3 years working experience within a similar position.This position is based in Clevedon and is close to regular bus services.Job Title: Cell Manufacturing EngineerLocation: Clevedon (Near Bristol)Type: 6 Month Temporary Contract#REDBS Red Recruitment (Business) Required skills
