Job Description

Digital Marketing Executive, up to £25,000 + benefits including 5.6 weeks’ holiday, discounts at Tout’s stores, pharmacy and Subways, on-going training and personal development, team events, pension etc.The role: We are looking for a driven and dynamic Digital Marketing Executive, oozing with ideas and creativity to digitally develop the brand and market presence of the Touts Group, promoting products and services to consumers and working to enhance customer experience and engage the local community. This is a newly created role reporting into the Brand Director and the Digital Marketing Executive will have the opportunity to create engaging content, build digital campaigns and champion all social media initiatives to maximise brand exposure as well as having the opportunity to spearhead a community initiative to provide 1 million meals to people in the local community who need them most.The successful candidate is likely to be a marketing graduate or have relevant work experience (preferably both) with a passion for brand, marketing and the impact digital communications can have on a business.The Company: The Tout’s Group are a well-established, family business who are passionate about people and food and are known for high quality, locally sourced convenience stores, providing the highest level of service to the local community. This is one of the most exciting times to join the marketing team of this dynamic business as they rebrand, expand and embark on various new business ventures. Maximising brand exposure and engaging the local community through digital marketing initiatives has never been more important.Location: The Digital Marketing Executive will initially be based in Cheddar, Somerset (BS27), moving to Cleeve, North Somerset (BS49) when the head office relocates to new premises. You will have the opportunity to visit the various business locations and attend community events from time to time, so transport and a driving license is therefore required.Digital Marketing Executive, Responsibilities:

  • Build content for digital and social media platforms
  • Develop social media presence and engagement on relevant and emerging platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Nextdoor etc.)
  • Devise and run social media campaigns to drive footfall and expand audiences
  • Create dynamic content (written, graphic and video), through various means including talking to external suppliers
  • Contribute to marketing strategies that optimise customer engagement
  • Optimise on-line content exposure and audience interaction through SEO, pay-per click (PPC), blogs etc.
  • Create copy and update company websites, overseeing website traffic and enhancing website functionality
  • Create digital promotions to support instore promotions and create digital graphic content for instore screens and videowall
  • Write and oversea email marketing campaigns and e-communications
  • Provide reports and analysis to show return on investment
  • Keep up to date with consumer habits, emerging products and new digital initiatives
  • Take responsibility for the 1 million meals’ community initiative
  • Assist the Brand Director with large projects, events and community engagement.
  • Digital Marketing Executive, Skills and Experience required:
  • Digital Marketing expertise, gained through work experience or qualification (content creation, development of on-line presence and engagement, SEO, google analytics, blogs, websites etc.)
  • Relevant work experience (6 months +) and a passion for marketing and brand engagement
  • Copy writing skills and experience
  • Basic graphic skills (Adobe illustrator/photoshop).
  • Intelligent, self-motivated, confident and creative
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Brilliant communication skills, a strong relationship builder with the ability to excite and engage your target audience
