Job Description

Our client is a growing software logistics provider connecting customers with the leading shipping providers across the world. They are expanding rapidly through global investment and are looking to add a Finance & Controlling Specialist to join their Financeteam supporting across a varied work load.Our client has a range of brands and as Finance & Controlling Specialist you will support the Finance functions across their multi brand portfolio. The role will support in a range of functions including:- Processing of invoices- Processing staff expenses in line with payroll deadlines- Creating payment batches for approval- Reviewing and managing supplier/customer ledger- Assisting in pre of monthly accounts- Bank and Balance sheet reconciliationsThe right person will be completing or have completed their university degree ideally within Finance; Accounting or a similar discipline. Our client is open to a candidates work experience and are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail; good excel skillsand a fantastic communicator. It would be an advantage if the person has previous accounting system experience but not a necessity as they will provide training across all their systems. On offer is the opportunity to join a business in an extremely exciting time of investment with a starting salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience. The company can offer a modern work environment from their Head Office in Accrington withhybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 days at home).
