Our client is a growing software logistics provider connecting customers with the leading shipping providers across the world. They are expanding rapidly through global investment and are looking to add an Account Manager to their team to manage the Carriersthey work with including the leading names in the field.As Carrier and Freight Manager you will manage the relationships with these leading Parcel and Freight Carriers to ensure the best service and price for customers using the bespoke platform for their logistic needs. You will be responsible for developingthe ongoing relationships with each carrier; negotiate rates; manage and improve services across each provider and look to broaden the portfolio of carriers. The role will also ensure performance is analysed and reported on to both internal and external stakeholdersto ensure service levels remain at the agreed levels.The right person will have worked in a similar role managing carriers with experience ideally in parcel and freight solutions. The right person will be a strong relationship builder with the ability to analyse from a commercial standpoint and be a strongnegotiator. The person needs to be an excellent communicator with strong reporting and analytic mindset.On offer is the opportunity to join a business in an extremely exciting time of investment with opportunity to work with stakeholders across the world to continue the development of the business. The salary on offer is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependingon experience with the opportunity for OTE.
