We are Manchester Local Care Organisation - an exciting, new public sector organisation that is bringing together NHS community health services and social care services in the city. We believe that our pioneering approach will make a massive difference to the health of people in our city and we are looking for you to join our team and help us do this.Are you looking for a new challenge within a fast moving and developing team We are looking for a Community Phlebotomist to join our Integrated Community Nursing Service in South Manchester . MFT provides a service to patients across the locality and the Phlebotomy team covers GP practices across the entire South Manchester patch and we are committed to providing a high quality phlebotomy service to clients in a clinic setting and their own homes.You will be required to collect blood samples from patients in a clinic setting and in their own home environment. You should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. You will be required to travel between bases. You should have previous phlebotomy experience working in a health care setting. You will be an enthusiastic and skilled individual ready to join an integrated team. You must have excellent interpersonal skills. We actively encourage and support personal and professional development.The post will involve cross site working and a full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
