Warehouse Team Manager (Ref: MY45488)A Japanese food distributor in London currently recruiting a Warehouse Team Manager to work in their office in Enfield, North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, directing, and managing site operations to ensure consistent highstandards are kept, and managing over 20 warehouse team members. Keeping high service quality and client satisfaction, profitable cost-efficient operations are also key factors for this role. The Ideal candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of the operationsand logistic field, ideally within the food industry or have an affinity for this area of business.An understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous.TYPE : Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS : from Monday to FridaySALARY : up to £40-50K (depending on experience)START : ASAPLOCATION : Enfield, North London (office-based)VISA : The company is not able to support visasWarehouse Team Manager Main Responsibilities:• Manage the warehouse operations processes according to the company policies, procedures, and other regulatory guidelines• Oversee safety in accordance with the relevant Health and Safety, and Fireregulations in the warehouse• Confirm the stock and warehouse occupancy, and report the result to sales, purchase, and logistics department•Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures• Set and report warehouse operating budgets for revenue and expenses• Conduct monthly routine about the efficiency, turnover, and KPI’s• Monitor the onsite operations to ensure that the warehouse operations staff executesservice agreements at, or above, the clients standards• Manage, coach, and train staff members for their personal development• Execute the performance assessment processes with your applicable staffWarehouse Team Manager Ideal Candidate:• Bachelor’s degree in the field of logistics• 10+ years of relevant experience in Logistics and a similar environment• 5+ years of experience in leading your own team• English speaking, writing, and reading skills• Understanding of Japanese or other Asian language or culture is highly advantageous• Flexible and able to respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities• Excellent problem-solving ability• Excellent ability to lead your team toward your objectives• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills• Ability to create formal and attractive presentations• Excellent Warehouse Management System skills• Proficiency with computer tools (minimum MS Office, excel)** All applicants for the Warehouse Team Manager must have the right to work in the UK as the Company is not able to offer visa support.If your application is successful, you will be contacted within two business days.
