Job Description

Kenneth Brian Associates are proud to be partnering with a well known accountancy firm based in London who are actively seeking a trainee accountant to join their accounts team. This is an exciting role for either a graduate or school leaver who is lookingto start a career within finance which will include either AAT or ACA study support.What is on offer:

  • Develop an understanding of our client’s and their businesses
  • Complete audit programs and form conclusions on each individual test and section completed
  • Highlight issues and problems for the attention of senior management
  • Discuss queries with client staff, obtaining relevant information and explanations
  • Resolve queries whether of an audit or accountancy nature
  • Under a 3 year contract, study towards the ACA qualification with the ICAEW
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be committed and motivated to studying towards the ACA or AAT qualification
  • Be able to deliver first class client service and work effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrate an ability to think and communicate clearly and logically
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Require a respect for confidentiality
  • Have a high level of general commercial awareness
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have or be on course for at least a strong 2.1 degree in any discipline
  • GCSE English and math’s (or equivalent) at a minimum of grade B
  • Or have the AAT qualification looking to progress to ACA
