Job Description

Housekeeper & Porter - Full time- Permanent - £11.95 per hour contract - 40 hours We are looking for 1 x communal area housekeeper & 1 x Porter to join a Luxury Residential development in a central London location. You will be working in an iconic landmark development with a super friendly and supportive team.The Housekeeping team is responsible for delivering a high level of cleanliness/upkeep for all front, and back of house areas. The central purpose of the role is to clean allocated areas throughout the day, in accordance to set standards/expectations. The porterwill be to assist the housekeeping team but also to look after the deliveries, jet washing and assisting the maintenance manager.Other Duties & Responsibilities to include:

  • To clean the public areas, refuse areas, back of house areas and leisure facilities on a daily basis ensuring all areas are kept meticulously clean and organised at all times
  • To maintain an organised and tidy work and all public areas.
  • To maintain appropriate housekeeping supplies and equipment needed to perform all tasks.
  • Daily transportation of the residential council waste bins to their designated storage areas and routinely clean them from the inside
  • Responsible for cleaning all carpets within the development and operating the marble polishing machinery and ensure the residential lobby, lifts and amenity spaces (Resident lounge, Swimming pool decking) and communal floors are periodically polished asneeded
2 x shifts - early - 6-3pm or Late 3-11pm - 5 days out of 7To be considered you must have:
  • Previous experience as a housekeeper in a 4* or 5* hotel or luxury residential development
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety processes and the management of these
  • Proficiency in English
