Job Description

Davies Talent Solutions are working with an independent, owner-managed Lloyd’s Syndicate who are looking to bring in their first dedicated HR specialist to support them with all elements of HR as they continue to grow and evolve as a business. This isa permanent position, and you will be required to be in the office based in the City of London 4 days per week.I am looking for strong HR generalists, who have the capability and flexibility to lead of the people agenda as well as transactionalelements of HR. Applicants for this role should have goodexperience in

  • leading performancemanagement processes
  • writing and updating policies and processes
  • rolling out learning & development across a business
  • embedding a unified business culture
  • managing all aspects of people relations
  • implementing benefits and rewards packages
  • leading management training
  • leading on the diversity & inclusion agenda across the business.
Reporting into the Head of Legal & Governance, key responsibilitiesheld within this role will include:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Responsible for driving the culture strategies, along with the Culture Champion.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment process and support all hiring managers in the selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and retention of our People.
  • Manage the relationship with the outsourced HR service provider.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and support managers in the performance management process.
  • Manage all company benefits, liaising with providers as applicable.
  • Assess training needs and apply and monitor training programmes.
  • Provide a quarterly HR report to the Board and regular HR stats to the Executive Committee.
