Job Description

Bruin is working with a Leading UK Insurance company, which has always put employee culture at the forefront of everything they do. The company at hand is actively searching for an experienced Payroll Operations Assistant to join their nationwide, productiveteam on a permanent basis. With the position being fully remote, they are seeking the best applicant regardless of where you are in the UK. Another excellent feature of this company is that once youve worked a certain number of days, you can save a day offto use on top of your existing vacation, allowing you to maintain a healthy work/life balance!In this position, you will oversee the assisting of any mergers, acquisitions, and change initiatives affecting the payroll and benefits operations, collaborating closely with segment Acquisitions, Integration, and Change leads to understand the landscapeof potential transactions and their impact on the Payroll & Benefits team.Your daily tasks will include:

  • Coordinating with the Payroll and HR Ops Manager to identify the scope of work and delivery timetable for any departmental changes.
  • Providing the payroll and benefits side of all M&A transactions and payroll adjustments in collaboration with our Acquisitions, Integration & Change leaders, vendors, and project managers.
  • Knowledge of HMRC payments and processes, including PAYE adoption.
  • Working together with different HR, finance, and other stakeholders to collect the necessary payroll information.
The client is now looking for someone who has worked in a similar job in the corporate world, Ideally, Someone who enjoys projects, payroll, and turning their hand to a variety of other tasks throughout the workday.
