Job Title: Marine Claims ExecutiveDuration: PermanentSalary: £35,000-60,000 annual salary plus bonus, pension & benefits (dependent upon experience - multiple roles available at different levels of seniority)Location: London/home based (2-3 days in central London office per week)The Role:- To manage assigned claims in accordance with company procedures, provide advice on claims related issues and identify the need for loss prevention activity.- To ensure that all electronic correspondence, whether received or sent, relating to claim files assigned to the particular individual is promptly and correctly filed in accordance with the agreed working practices and to maintain and keep updated such e:files.- To contribute to the continuous development of company procedures and systems.- To produce relevant articles for inclusion in Club publications.- To support the Syndicate Underwriting objectives.The Candidate:- P&I Claims handling experience.- Excellent communication skills.- Preferably degree educated with preferably LLB or LLM in Maritime Law or overseas qualified Lawyers.- Highly organised, and enthusiastic with an excellent attention to detail and prioritising individual workload.- Eligibility to work in the UK.If the above role is something of interest, please apply online with an up to date CV copy.
