Job Description

Are you an experience HR Business Partner Have you worked on change management & research projectsI am working with a higher education provider who is one of the top ten performing institutions in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2023,My client is looking to recruit a HR Business Partner. This is initially a 9 - 12 month fixed term contract opportunity working 35 hours per week.They offer a flexible working approach with 2 days working in their office within the city with the rest of the week working remotely.To be considered for the role you will have worked on change management project from start to finish. Ideally you will have also previously worked within the higher educations sector.£46,050 - £51,530 per annum including Inner London Weighting, depending on experiencePurpose of PostProvide HR advice and support considering business needs as well as legislative and procedural frameworks and to build close relationships and deep understanding of business areas.Role

  • Working on a new research project across the organisations
  • Lead on the change management program that is being implemented
  • To act as a HR lead for allocated business areas, ensuring HR best practice and establishing effective relationships with key staff.
  • To build close relationships with other teams involved with People related processes including Corporate HR team, Learning and Development, Job Evaluation, Occupational Health & Recruitment team
  • To advise and support senior managers in improving people planning, performance management and support leaders to identify future talent, drive engagement and manage change effectively
  • To offer support and advice to all staff on HR matters including employee relations issues (grievance, disciplinary, sickness, capability) recruitment, learning and development and job evaluation and support the HR Advisor in managing standard HR proceduralissues.
  • To provide strategic advice regarding onboarding and recruitment processes with a particular focus on ensuring that our recruitment processes are fair and inclusive..
  • To support managers with addressing departmental or individual learning and development needs, tapping into the learning provision offered by the Learning and Development team at the City of London.
  • To, develop and coach HR staff setting objectives, deadlines and encouraging personal development and professional growth.
  • To act as a mentor for the HR Advisor.
  • To review management reports and statistics produced by the data team to analyse and identify employment trends.
