Job Description

A European trading and investment institution is seeking a HSSE Coordinator to join their Commodities department. The candidate will need to have an Oil & Gas background and be able to work in a hybrid setup from their central London office.The role is open to due to an internal promotion and this position offers external career progression. If you are passionate about all aspects of Quality and HSSE, have a good knowledge across ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, then this role is an ideal next move.Your Role:• Support the day-to-day HSSE workload for the department’s business and operations• Assist the Regional HSSE manager in ensuring that all locations and activities are compliant with:- local regulatory HSSE requirements- Contract HSSE requirements- Company HSSE management system• Support and deliver education and awareness training of HSSE issues and help ensure best practice is developed and maintained within the department• Carry out HSSE audits, process reviews, inspections and monitoring activitiesYour Background:• IOSH and/or NEBOSH general certification• Experience of working in the Oil & Gas industry in a HSE capacity• Health, Safety and Environment management system experience in line with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015• Ability to prepare and update HSSE statistical tracking and trending data• Knowledge of relevant UK HSE laws, codes of practice and standards• A demonstrated ability to undertake audits, risk assessments and accident investigations
