Leading independent consultancy seeking a Business Development Manager to join a newly founded division looking to branch out into the retail market.Company clientpleased to be working with a leading independent consultancy in their search for a Business Development Manager to join a newly founded division looking to branch into the retail investments market.You will leverage off existing relationships with advisory firms and their own network to design and implement a contact strategy to accelerate their move into the retail market. You will set up initial meetings with prospective firms and work with the investmentteam to create the investment mandate for each firm, through gaining a full understanding of their clients needs. You will own and maintain the relationship with the firm from first point and maximise opportunity. You will then design and implement an agreedmigration strategy to move the assets into the tailored model portfolio service.Role requirements:* New business development experience ideally from within a consultancy setting.* A track record of growing revenue from providing business solutions to quality advisory firms.* Extensive industry and market knowledge within the IFA market.* Ideally an established and relevant portfolio of professional alliances within the target market.This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new venture within an established and reputable business.
