Job Description

JS207 – Executive Search ConsultantLocation: Cirencester, GloucestershireSalary: Competitive + uncapped commissionOverview : Due to an exceptional year, First Military Executive Recruitment are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of another Head Hunter / Recruitment Consultant at our Head Office in Cirencester. The role will be to help support our current and future clients with recruitment for Executive level roles.Successful candidates will need to display a proven background in the recruitment industry, strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to liaise with senior decision makers across multiple sectors in both the UK and overseas.Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manage a warm desk and develop business through existing accounts.
  • Develop new business through proactive business development activities both on the telephone and face to face.
  • Negotiate contracts.
  • Interview and assess prospective applicants and match their skills and experience with client’s needs.
  • Advertise vacancies through proven mediums.
  • Proactively source candidates and build relationships with prospective candidates for future opportunities.
  • Help applicants to prepare for interviews.
  • Provide detailed feedback to both candidates and clients.
  • Experience and Key Skills :
  • An excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to respond to requirements and act with urgency.
  • Ability to engage with senior candidates in a professional way, demonstrating market and client knowledge.
  • Experience in successfully sourcing senior candidates across a variety of executive roles.
  • A flexible approach and willing to work outside the normal working hours as required, understanding that candidates are not always available to talk within standard office hours.
  • Previous experience in the recruitment industry and/or ex-military experience is highly desirable (ideally both).
  • High level of commercial awareness.
  • The intellect, flexibility and robustness necessary to overcome difficulties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Confidence and energy.
  • Consultants are expected to meet both office and personal targets and will be rewarded accordingly.
