Job Description

This Accounts Assistant role is working for a small accountancy practice which was established over 30 years ago.It has pleasant offices with access to the high street in this suburb of Cardiff. Parking is free. The Partner is friendly and approachable individual and many of the clients have been with the practice for a number of years.The role reports to the Partner and is part-time.Duties:Preparation of annual accounts for small limited companies, partnerships and sole traders from manual and computerised records.Prepare corporation tax returns and business tax computations.Prepare basic personal tax returns.Prepare VAT returns.Undertake general bookkeeping duties on behalf of clients.Payroll.Working with IRIS software.You will ideally have experience of working in practice, covering the above responsibilities.Hours of work are 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day. The practice closes at 1pm on a Friday.There would be flexibility to increase hours in the future should this be desirable for the successful candidate.If you are interested in learning more, please send your CV as soon as possible.
