Job Description

Job Title: Sales Estimator£30,000 - £35,000 per annumJob Summary: Our high-end furniture manufacturing client are seeking a skilled Sales Estimator to join their team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate estimates and quotes for clients, managing orders and documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The successful candidate must have a background in joinery and cabinet making, beproficient in Excel, and have excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed and accurate estimates and quotes for clients based on specifications and requirements
  • Manage and process contractual orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone, providing updates and answering questions
  • Order materials and supplies necessary for production
  • Manage all related documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust estimates as needed
  • Work closely with our production team to ensure quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new opportunities and improve sales strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and pricing changes to ensure competitive pricing
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales estimation, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry
  • Strong background in joinery and cabinet making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
