Job Description

Senior Support Worker -Salary ranges between £25,792 - £27,456Are you seeking a new permanent role as a Senior Support Worker supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex needs Chorley/Clayton Le Woods area if so we would like to hear from you!Our client a reputable care provider in the area is looking for support workers to join their friendly team. The position is full time - 35 - 40 hours a week, with alternative weekends off.You will be working for an excellent provider in Supported living and residential service, specialising in supporting people with high and complex needs, working with people with to achieve their Life ambitions and potential.As a senior support worker you will be working directly with the team of support workers to manage and ensure they are supported with their duties and the needs of service users are being met. You will be working closely with the management team to ensure thesmooth day to day running of the service by supporting and completing rotas, supervisions and overseeing medication.The successful candidate will hold relevant experience in the Social Care fields ideally from a Supported living service or Residential care. You will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and would ideally have NVQ Level 2 or 3 or willing to working towardsa NVQ Level 3. You will have experience dealing with complex situations and can use your own initiative. You will be able to demonstrate good organisations skills, leadership, communication skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues and the DeputyManager ensuring the effective and smooth running of the Service.Some main benefits:" £300 Annual Bonus paid before Christmas every year!"
