Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is a leading education recruitment agency, specialising in the placement of qualified teachers, teaching assistants, and other educational professionals in schools across the UK. We are committed to connecting talented educators withrewarding opportunities that make a positive impact on students lives.We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join an amazing school in Chorley as soon as possible. This school caters to children aged 4-19 with a range of special educational needs, including moderate learning difficulties, severelearning difficulties, Autism, and Speech language and communication needs.Your role will be to cover staff PPA throughout the whole school. You will be paid to main pay scale and working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4pm.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to provide individualised support.
  • Monitor and track students progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEND best practices and strategies.
