Job Description

Property Manager - circa £45k plus benefits (Pay award Pending) Closing date - 12noon, Monday 5th February 2024.About Us Empower Housing Association (EHA) specialise in providing housing for adults with disabilities enabling them to live independently within their community. Working together with families, Local Authorities and other key stakeholders, we aim to find the righthome for our tenants. We currently provide housing to over 450 tenants in a geographical area from Scotland to Devon. Our colleagues are key to our success and growth, we are a small team and put people at the heart of all that we do.About the RoleWe are currently looking for a dynamic Property Manager to manage EHA’s planned and responsive maintenance service delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and value for money, whilst ensuring compliance with Legislation and Regulation. You will beinstrumental in reviewing how we work to ensure we make the best use of our resources and technology and have the right systems and process in place to deliver excellent services. From a people perspective, you will lead and manage a small in-house operativeteam, our repairs administration team and contractors.About YouYou will have demonstrable experience of operating compliant planned and responsive maintenance services preferably within the Social Housing Sector.Experience of budget setting and cost management control for responsive and planned investment programmes is a must, alongside working to key performance indicators, producing clear reports and analysis.As you will be responsible for people, we expect that you will have experience of leading and managing teams, both internal and external, and that you work collaboratively with all stakeholders.Must haves to be successful within this role are excellent time management and organisational skills and experience of organising, planning and coordinating programmes, you will also possess the ability to think on your feet and react to emergency situationsas and when they arise.To apply for this vacancy please head to our Empower Housing website and go to the job vacancies page where you can download the full job descirption and person specification.
