Job Description

Purchasing Professionals are currently recruiting on behalf of a global supplier of medical and laboratory equipment for an experienced administrator to join the team on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months.The successful applicant will ideally have some experience within logistics. This is a fast paced role dealing with high volumes of paperwork and offering support to the wider team and so the ideal applicant will have excellent organisational skills as well as good attention to detail. Excellent IT skills are important along with the ability to pick up things quickly.Duties that you will undertake:

  • Assisting in the moving of their operations from their previous ERP system into SAP.
  • Data cleansing including but not limited to identifying data errors and duplicate entries, formalising data entries to conform to a certain standard.
  • Supporting the Category Specialists/Buyers in populating additional fields
  • Bringing the data in the current system up to a standard by which it can be transferred seamlessly into a new system.
  • Manage the group Inbox, acknowledging internal enquiries, forwarding them on to the relevant Buyer and following up on any older enquiries that are still incomplete.
  • To do this job well, it is essential that you have:
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience to intermediate level, in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel & Outlook and ability to quickly pick up inhouse systems.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to document, handle, prioritise and deal with a high volume of work.
  • Strong attention to detail and a tenacity to be accurate.
  • It would also be a great advantage if you:
