The Internal Account Manager will support the team by raising quotes quickly and providing technical administration support.This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has worked within the Merchant or Retailindustry who would welcome the opportunity to step into a sales based role as our Internal Account Manager.Key Responsibilities Key Account Management: Own and deeply understand our relationship with the top accounts, identifying key decision-makers and drivers within these businesses.Strengthen accounts: Develop and manage a strategic call plan to engage customer accounts, identifying root causes and collaborating across departments to plan effective resolution pathways. Your goal is to encourage customers to surpass previous performance.New Business Development: Proactively seek out opportunities for acquiring new accounts and create customised proposals. Identify prospects for exposure to the wider Highbourne Groups offerings, including products and services such as National Shower Spares,Energy Efficiency, Underfloor Heating, and more.Structured Onboarding: Partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth onboarding of new accounts, whether single or multi-site. Implement a structured approach to initiate and nurture trading relationships that align with growth expectations.Pricing Strategy Involvement: Be involved with DHS pricing policy by proactively understanding our customers and monitoring competitors activities. Collaborate with the pricing team and commercial department to maintain competitive and relevant pricing strategies.You: Are you the kind of go-getter who can turn a conversation into a connection Were on the lookout for an enthusiastic, high-energy Internal Sales Manager to join Direct Heating Spares. In the role you’ll be managing a customer base to ensure a smooth salesjourney. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider Sales team and you’ll be committed to acting with integrity and honesty in everything you do.Skills and competencies Previous experience within a Customer Relationship / Account Management / Customer Service role.Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.Superb customer service skills either within a Merchanting or Retail environment.Good organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise the work of self and others.It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Account Management, Building Products, Construction, Consultative Sales, Customer Relationship, Customer Services,Manufacturing, Plumbing & Heating, Retail, Sales, Telesales, Trade.Us: From boilers to bathroom suites, tubing to towel rails and everything in between, City Plumbing has all the products our customers need to complete the job.
