Job Description

Job Title: Early Years Practitioner - Babies RoomLocation: ChorleyType: Full-time and Part-time Positions AvailableTemp to Perm RoleWe are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join our dynamic team, specifically focusing on the Babies Room at our Chorley-based childcare facility. If you have a genuine love for working with infants, possess excellentcommunication skills, and are committed to creating a nurturing environment for the youngest members of our community, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to infants in the Babies Room.
  • Foster a safe and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition from home to the childcare setting.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support learning and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of childrens progress and communicate effectively with the team and parents.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Level 2 or 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Passion for working with babies and promoting their well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and the setting.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Working Hours:
  • Full-time and part-time roles available.
  • Hours to be confirmed, but flexibility is possible for the right candidate.
Salary:
  • £10.40-£13.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
