Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, a Banking Advisor/Cashier to work within retail banking. Permanent/Full time37.5 hours a week; Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm and rotad Saturdays 8.45am - 12.15pmMust be able to cover Chorley and Leyland branches.25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays per annum (rising with service)Pension; employer contribution 5%Great benefits package after successful probation inc. healthcare cashback, high street discounts, holiday purchase.Successful candidates will need to undergo credit check and criminal record check.Job PurposeProvide the first point of contact for branch members, delivering an outstanding customer experience in every interaction; both new and existing. Responsible for building deep and meaningful customer relationships through proactively identifying customerneeds and explaining the benefits of products and services.Main Duties and Responsibilities* Operate till position undertaking a wide range of cashiering duties and take full responsibility for all monies held in the till.* Speak with confidence around the branchs full range of services and products articulating the benefit of these to the Members.* Ensure an excellent customer experience by adopting a customer first mentality and actively ask for feedback from both Members and colleagues.* Undertake all branch administrative duties assigned to you as part of your daily role. This includes account opening, dealing with complex enquiries, supporting Members through bereavement, etc, both face to face and on the telephone.* Maintain knowledge and comply with all legal responsibilities and codes of conduct.* Comply with the branchs security, regulatory and operational procedures.* Complete all assigned training and knowledge checks in a timely manner.* Keep up to date with key communications and changes to products, services and processes.* Carry out such other duties, which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities and expectations of the position.* Prioritise customer needs and provide a high standard of service.Technical skills, knowledge and experience requirementsEssential:Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.·Experience of Microsoft packages including word & excel.·Ability to independently manage multiple tasks.·Strong attention to detail.·Cash handling and ability to balance a till.·Strong administrative skills.Desirable:5 GCSE at Grade C or above including Maths and English or equivalent.Experience of working in a customer service environment.Please apply now for immediate considerationAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
