Job Description

Position: Cover Supervisor - Secondary PRU (Pupil Referral Unit)Location: ChorleySchool Type: Secondary PRU for pupils with SEMH and behaviour needsStart Date: 22/1/24Daily Rate of Pay: £90 - £110Are you a dedicated and passionate educator ready to make a positive impact in the lives of students facing SEMH and behaviour challenges Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor for a dynamic secondary PRU in Chorley.Key Responsibilities:

  • Covering a Range of Subjects: As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to cover a variety of subjects, including English, maths, and science. Adaptability and a strong educational background are crucial.
  • Management of Challenging Behaviour: The successful candidate must be adept at managing challenging behaviour effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Education Background: A relevant educational background is essential, and previous experience working in a PRU or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Behaviour Management Skills: Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour in a constructive and supportive manner.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to cover various subjects and adapt to the unique needs of the students.
