Job Description

BI DeveloperSalary:£35,000 - £55,000 + benefitsLocation: Chorley office (hybrid)Role: Develop the Database & CRM using Power BI and Microsoft DynamicsWhy Autonomy and ownership to improve the CRM and Database using modern technology

We are working with a growing Financial Services business who are a market leader in what they do. With a strong track record and reputation, you will join a collaborative forward thinking team who are always looking to improve ways of working.As a BI Developer, you will develop the Database and CRM using Teams, Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics. When new forms or data sources are required, you will develop a bespoke form using the cloud-based software. Youll enjoy thinking outside the box by researchingadd-ons or bolt-ons for the platforms used to enhance the functions for the business. This role will include some support development and testing of bespoke software developed for the business by the IT Director. This role will manage the database, the databasefields, and also train new team members. The post holder will be able to offer 1st line and 2nd line support (when needed or escalate to the outsourced provider) with hardware and software problem shooting within the office.BI Developer - Responsibilities:
  • Management of the database(s), both SQL and NoSQL, users and the access allowed for each user
  • Create and develop further the CRM and various forms using Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI. Create forms that are bespoke for the clients they work with. Customise the forms & CRM using Microsoft Dynamics
  • Distribute automate reports to both internal and external clients
  • Manage the remote hosting on Azure, Firebase (or similar) hosting platforms, ensuring the backups are set up correctly
  • Train new team members on Dynamics, Power BI and internally developed software and offer 1st and 2nd line support
BI Developer - Requirements:
  • Commercial experience developing a CRM or Database using Microsoft Dynamics
  • Commercial experience integrating Power BI into Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience using Google Docs and Google Business suite functions
  • Strong email and template knowledge including PDF creation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
