* Service Manager* Managing Contracts & Budgets* Young PeopleWe have a fantastic new opportunity for a Service Manager to lead and manage a supported living service for young people 16 - 25 across a number of sites, located in the London Borough of Hounslow. It caters for young people who have left the care system andare looking to live more independently, and may also present with a variety of complex needs, including those with babies to care for. The focus is to ensure person centred care that supports individuals to achieve independence, reach their potential and supportingtheir transition from childhood to young adults.Key duties of the Service Manager (Young Peoples Service) role* Responsible for providing operational and strategic leadership and management* Ensuring the smooth running of the service within budget requirements* Developing and mentoring your staff team* Committed to the delivery of high -quality person centred services* Managing the contractual requirements within the contract with the local authority* Ensuring the delivery of the Positive Behaviour Support modelKey requirements for the Service Manager role* Proven experience as a strong, supportive and effective Home manager/Service Manager* Proven track record of success at running a specialist leaving care service* A proven ability to meet and maintain CQC requirements with strong understanding of the KLOEs* Previous experience of the Positive Behaviour Support model* Strong stakeholder engagement skills* QCF Level 5 in social care /NVQ level 4 /equivalent qualification and experienceThis is an opportunity to join a highly regarded company that is committed to training, developing and retaining its staff teams.The salary for this post is £40,000.
