Job Description

Senior Group Reporting Manager | West London | £70,000-£80,000 plus benefits and bonus | FTSE businessA Senior Group Reporting Manager is required to work for a fast-growth FTSE 250, a commercial business based in Central London. You will be joining at a key time, this newly created role will be supporting the business as they enter into the next phase ofgrowth.Reporting to the Director of Finance you will be working in a fast-paced, ambitious environment and will be responsible for managing a small team. This is an ideal role for a Big 4 Manager, looking for their first move into industry, or for an ACA lookingfor their 2nd industry move. You will gain great insight into how a growing FSTE 250 Group finance function operates and will be seen as part of the finance management team from day one.Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the financial reporting responsibilities including the provision of weekly and monthly management information and performance indicators to the Board and other stakeholders
  • Taking ownership of the delivery of high-quality financial reporting to the financial markets and investors, including preparing key accounting estimates and leading the drafting of the consolidated IFRS financial statements
  • Reviewing, implementing, and enhancing reporting processes and key controls across the broader business, including managing the integration of acquired businesses into our existing controls framework and systems
  • Managing the Groups external audit including drafting/reviewing key financial reporting position papers and the provision of high-quality and timely information to the auditors
  • Leading on technical accounting matters under IFRS, including drafting papers and presenting to Executive Committee/Audit Committee Chair
  • Support with the preparation and review of financial data, due diligence, agreements, and analyses as required for corporate transactions
  • Building strong relationships with members of the Executive Committee and Area Directors to support revenue and profit growth in their business units through the provision of high-quality financial information and insight
  • Developing, coaching, and fostering engagement indirect reports and also influencing broader team culture, capabilities, motivation, succession, and development
To be considered for this role you must be ACA/CA Qualified from a Big 4 practice, operating at Manager level, or have 3+ years of PQE experience working in industry in a reporting role. Knowledge and experience of IFRS standards and an inquisitive mindsetare essential. Proven experience auditing listed businesses and successfully leading audits for key clients are essential. . You should possess excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with the wider finance team, stakeholders across the business,and senior management.
