Company description:pJob description:Essential job duties and responsibilitiesThe Network Services Manager is responsible for driving the continued growth, resilience and quality of our security network, which underpins our high-quality assistance and information services, and our operational planning.You will work closely with Regional Security Centres to identify network opportunities and gaps, helping to prioritize resources and enhance Security Network Services collaboration. They will ensure internal network standards and KPIs are adhered to, aswell as ensuring the efficiency of operating practices and task ownership between Security & Network Services.You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and articulating global standards for provider data and credentialing maintenance, Hotel Security Advisor database management, relationship management in line with security industry best practice andthe relevant professional standards (e.g. ISO). You will alsobe deployable globally in support of Security Services network and planning priorities or other contingencies.Responsibilities Play a critical role in each regional security centers operational planning to identify opportunities and close gaps in the quality and size of regional security assistance and information provider networks. Continuously assess key providers capabilities and identify strategic opportunities with providers in key operational countries and in support of key outbound client markets, including through on the ground engagement as required and directed. Reportto the business on a quarterly basis on regional trending and advise on actions to address gaps/ Maintain required documentation and support Security Services stakeholders in evolving the global strategy for engagement and collaboration with Network Services in all regions, ensuring appropriate skills-to-task allocation ownership, and complianceto group standards and KPIs Be the primary Security Services liaison contact for Network Services managers with any routine requests and for any project-related activity. Implement the global standard for provider data and credentialing maintenance, relationship management, Hotel Security Advisor database management in line with industry best practice and the Group Network Services Standards. Assist RSCs in meeting thesestandards through tracking the effectiveness of provider network and identifying obstacles to network development. Provide Security Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to Network Services, Business Analytics, SPIN IT teams or other technical stakeholders, as required. Support the Global Security Director Assistance and liaise with Legal, the strategic partnerships team and other stakeholders with any external engagements concerning strategic Security Assistance vendors and/or potential partners, as required.Requirements Excellent interpersonal and networking skills and demonstrated intercultural understanding Typically 5 years of International security work experience (work and personal) An understanding of security threat dynamics globally with regional specialization in MENA, sub-Saharan Africa preferred. Experience engaging with security companies across a range of geographies and risk environments. An understanding of the types of security services required by Intl SOS clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to clearly articulate requirements and instructions in procedures and through more informal channelsRequired Work Experience Experience in security operations and in working with security companies across a range of security environments Experience operating in an international context (assignments, exchanges or experience working within a multinational company, military or disaster management organisation) Experience in relationship development and maintenance, including with external security providers Logistics planning experience an advantageRequired Qualifications Degree-level qualification or equivalent work experience. Preferably in political science, risk management, security studies, international relations or related subject.Required Languages Excellent English (spoken and written). Effective operational proficiency or advanced proficiency in languages other than English preferred.Travel / Rotation Requirements (Brief description of any travel or rotation requirements) Travel may be required, particularly in Africa and the Middle East Willingness to work outside of normal duty hours, in support of security operations.
