Elevation are proud to be working with a highly successful, employer of choice within the Chesterfield area as they look to recruit a Management Accountant to join their growing team! They are looking for an ambitious and driven finance professional who will join the team to support with the preparation of accurate and timely divisional management accounts.Key Responsibilities: * Ensure P&Ls, the balance sheet and all supporting management information are produced on a timely, accurate and high-quality basis* Complete a through and robust review process for the P&Ls, the balance sheet, supporting balance sheet recs and supporting management information* Completion of month end tasks on a timely and accurate basis including, accruals and prepayments* Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, as needed* Develop business reporting as needed* Review of control accounts and other balance sheet accounts to ensure they are fully reconciled and understood, flagging possible any risks and opportunities* Complete other monthly P&L analysis, such as sales analysis, and reconciliations, as needed* Support the budgeting process* Support the year end process* Liaise with the external auditors as needed* Undertake financial audits Role Requirements:*Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA preferred)*Strong academic record *Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles *Proven & reliable technical skills *Proven ability to handle new and different systems *High attention to detail *Adaptable and open to change *Curious and can-do mindset *Strong organisational and interpersonal skills If you feel you match the specified criteria and are interested in discussing the position in more detail, please dont hesitate to apply directly or get in contact today.Elevation Recruitment group is a specialist division focusing on the recruitment of talented Accountancy & Finance professionals across all levels, from entry level trainees to post qualified accountants.
