Job Description

Role Overview:As a sales coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting our client’s sales team and responding to customer needs efficiently.This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a passion for customer service and a knack for organisation. You will be instrumental in maintaining smooth operations and contributing to our clients overall success.Key Responsibilities:
  • Progressing orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Updating and maintaining orders within the SAP system.
  • Handling customer documentation and inputting orders into SAP.
  • Placing supplier purchase orders in response to customer requirements.
  • Providing detailed product information to existing customers.
  • Educating customers and prospects about VPS features and benefits.
  • Presenting pricing, terms, and conditions per standard procedures.
  • Managing customer and prospect files within the SAP database.
  • Identifying trends in customer satisfaction and addressing any issues.
  • Meeting sales targets and collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Addressing shipping queries and resolving customer issues.
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as requested by the Management Team.
Required Skills:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in simple arithmetic.
  • Excellent telephone skills and proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP software is a plus (training provided if needed).
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Honest, assertive, and creative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes is highly advantageous.
