Support Worker£13.00- £15.00 p/hourChester-Le-Street, DurhamThe RoleWe are looking to recruit a talented team member to work on our single cover, 24-hours a day support package, for a gentleman living in the Chester-le-Street area.We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of supporting people with disabilities. Our ideal candidates will be motivated, flexible, respectful and dedicated to providing excellent standards of care.As a support worker youll report to the Team Leader to ensure that this service operates smoothly and effectively to meet the needs of the service user. The service user is living with a brain injury - prior experience of working with similar clients wouldbe beneficial but training of day-to-day management will be provided. You will work as a team of skilled support staff to ensure that the service user is given high-quality person-centred care.It is important to note that there are 3 large dogs (Huskies) on the property. They areby nature of the breedhigh in energy. The dogs are well trained, they are not aggressive but are protective of the family so a willingness to form familiarity withthe dogs is essential.The dogs are free roaming but are kept outdoorsthe service user does like to utilise the outside space where possible so contact with them is likely.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of a Support worker, but are not limited to:
