Learning Support Assistant (3 FT) - Chester-le-StreetThe Education Network is currently working in partnership with Park View School in Chester-le-Streetin search ofthree Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a long-term temporary basis. The role is to commence in September 2021 and will extend for the full academic year, until July 2022. The role will involve supporting children with special educational needs within the classroom.In order to be successful in your application, you must be confident and have some experience of supporting children to achieve their learning goals within a school setting, preferably with the secondary school age group (11-18).Requirements for the role of Learning Support Assistant:oExperience of working with children with special education needsoHave strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff and students.oHave excellent organisational and time management skills.oAt least two years of work history/education which can be referenced.oA valid DBS certificate or the willingness to apply for one.The Education Network are acting as the recruiter for the above role.
